Critical Remarks

Used in the evacuation of Millbank (ID 1000) for male convicts, 1824, moored alongside hulk establishment at Woolwich but not under management of Superintendent Capper; The following year, in 1825, the Dromedary received a consignment of convicts while at Woolwich and departed, bound for the convict hulk establishment at Bermuda, which it joined in 1826. The Dromedary was therefore never officially part of the hulk establishment at Woolwich.
