Remarks   Demolished in 1961. Adjacent to former workhouse.


'[the former] workhouse, the building in East Street was old and later converted into six tenements, becoming known as Mill Hill Cottages. Alongside them stood a small square building of brick, formerly the parish lock-up. These tenements were demolished in 1961 and on their site is a block of council flats.'
