Remarks   Anecdotal evidence of lock-up being either in Halfpenny Bridge Tollhouse or the Old Fire Station, Burford Street. The Tollhouse is Grade II listed but the listing does not describe any lock-up.

'It is thought that the lower half of the toll house on Halfpenny Bridge may have been a lock-up but no further information has been forthcoming.'
