Remarks Gastineau's 1830s sketch (below) of the Roundhouse shows it well maintained and apparently still in use. The 1879 Ordnance Survey map of Flintshire shows location of lock-up with adjacent animal pound but its condition is not known. The building is not marked on the map published in 1900.
