'There are two cells, one about 12 feet long, 7 feet broad, and 9 feet high; and the other about 9 feet square and 8 feet high. They are dry, lighted by glazed windows, and properly warmed, and sufficiently ventilated, and are secure. The place was in good order. The number of prisoners is one or two per week.'
