Description
'This is a single cell in a police station, which is a private house rented by the county. The house stands in the middle of the village, and the site is unobjectionable. The cell is dry, and there is a provision for warming it; but it is badly lighted and ventilated and is not secure. There is a guard bed, but no bedding.'
